Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Sensor Repair

What happens if my NOx sensor fails?

Nitrogen oxide sensors are installed in vehicles to analyse the emissions and ensure they stay within legal NOx emissions limits. If the NOx sensor fails, it can lead to a number of fault lights lighting up your dashboard. At our workshop in Ashton-under-Lyne, we have the technology to read the error codes and establish if indeed your NOx sensor has failed.

While it’s not difficult to repair a NOx sensor, it can be expensive. A more economical alternative is to use a refurbished sensor; these generally work as well as a new one, although may not last quite as long.

If you’d like to talk over your options, our advice is to call the team at Guide Bridge MOT & Service Centre. We are experienced in repairing NOx sensors and are here to answer your questions and advise you on how to proceed.

We are RAC-Approved and members of the RMI and the IMI, so new customers can have complete peace of mind when choosing Guide Bridge MOT & Service Centre for the first time.
