MOT

Every car over three years old needs an MOT test to ensure that it is safe and roadworthy. The MOT test involves testing various parts of the car such as:

• The brakes
• The lights

Although the actual MOT test usually takes less than an hour, it’s advisable to drop your car off at Guide Bridge MOT & Service Centre in Ashton-under-Lyne, first thing in the morning in case the MOT test shows that urgent repairs are required. Class 4 MOTs are performed in-house at our workshop in Ashton-under-Lyne. Class 7 tests are outsourced to a trusted local MOT station.
